Our Mission

At MAitRI, our mission is to celebrate the Bengali language and culture–representing people speaking Bangla on either side of the Bangladesh-India border– under an overarching theme of multiculturalism, diversity, equity, and inclusion, going beyond (religious and political lines), with a concurrent focus on serving the community in Rhode Island through charitable initiatives.
